Removes the Local inventory stored by WeOrganize on that iPhone. It does not delete a Cloud account or Cloud inventory.
Your data choices
Clear controls for deleting what you no longer need.
WeOrganize provides separate controls for Local inventory, Cloud inventory, and your Cloud account. Account deletion can be initiated and completed directly in the iPhone app.
Choose the right action
Three different deletion controls.
Local and Cloud inventories are separate. Select the action that matches what you want removed.
Removes Cloud inventory, photos, categories, activity tied to owned storage, and sharing participation while keeping the Cloud account available.
Removes Cloud data and account access, revokes sessions, disconnects sign-in providers, and de-identifies the remaining account record. It does not automatically remove Local-only inventory.
Delete Account and All Data
Complete the request inside WeOrganize.
You must be signed into the Cloud account you want to delete.
- Open Profile
In the WeOrganize iPhone app, select the Profile tab.
- Choose Delete Account and All Data
Scroll to the data controls and select Delete Account and All Data—not only Log Out.
- Review shared ownership
If you are the only owner of a shared storage space, promote another owner or explicitly confirm that the affected shared space will be deleted.
- Confirm permanent deletion
Read the impact summary and complete the confirmation. This action cannot be undone.
- Keep the completion screen open
The app tracks the deletion operation through Cloud record and photo cleanup, even after your account sessions are revoked.
What account deletion removes
For the Cloud account being deleted, WeOrganize removes or de-identifies:
- Profile details, including email, display name, phone, role, base location, and username.
- Cloud storage-space and item records owned solely by the account, including notes, categories, tags, values, conditions, and statuses.
- Cloud photos and thumbnails associated with data being deleted.
- Active invitations, share requests, device and synchronization state, and sessions.
- Apple or Google sign-in links and associated provider credentials held by WeOrganize.
The account record is disabled and direct identifiers are replaced or cleared. Activity associated with storage owned by the account is removed; activity retained for a surviving shared space no longer identifies the deleted user as the actor.
Local inventory is separate
Deleting the Cloud account with Delete Account and All Data does not automatically erase Local-only inventory on the iPhone. To remove Local inventory, open Profile and separately choose Delete All Local Data.
Deleting the WeOrganize app can remove local app data from the device. Copies may still exist in an Apple device backup according to the user’s iCloud or computer-backup settings and Apple’s policies.
Deletion timing and limited retention
Active Cloud account access and sessions are revoked as deletion completes. Photo cleanup can resume after an interruption without restoring account access.
A minimal deletion-status record is retained for up to 48 hours so the app can confirm completion after sign-out. Synchronization reliability records may be held for up to 180 days, but account deletion removes those linked to the deleted account.
Encrypted backups rotate through daily, weekly, and monthly retention windows and may preserve a residual copy for up to approximately three months. Backup copies are isolated from normal use and are retained only for disaster recovery; deleted information is not restored to active service except where necessary for a recovery, after which the deletion state is reapplied.
WeOrganize may retain minimal information where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or to prevent fraud and abuse.
Need help with a deletion request?
If you cannot access the in-app control, email support@weorganize.me from the provider-verified email connected to your account. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting.
Do not send an authentication code, provider token, full QR code, or sensitive inventory photos by email.
